Holt Hyde is a 2010-introduced character, the great-grandson of Dr. Jekyll with a fire elemental heritage, sharing a body with his human alter ego Jackson Jekyll.
Holt Hyde is a 2010-introduced and all-around character. He is the great grandson of the original Dr. Jekyll, although, Holt's father is referred to as "Mr. Hyde". Due to his mother being of the Jekyll/Hyde lineage, he has a human alter ego by the name of Jackson Jekyll. Holt himself is a mixture of the Hyde-condition and a fire elemental, still making him much more willing to break the rules and to shirk responsibilities than his counterpart named Jackson. He and Jackson do not get along very well because of this, but they do care for each other. Holt is an enthusiastic and popular DJ around New Salem and is often asked to take care of the music when his fellow students have another party. In the books, his name is D.J. Hyde.

Holt, like his alter-ego Jackson, is voiced by Cindy Robinson in the English version of the cartoon.
In the Hebrew version, he's voiced by Dan Kizler, who also voices his counterpart Jackson Jekyll.
Character
Holt is a hot-headed, impulsive DJ with a creative side, blue skin, flame hair, and transforms based on music or time.
Holt is a DJ, so he's very social and into promoting his music. He admits that he is "hot-headed" and can have a bit of a temper. Holt is known to be impulsive, for example, in Ghouls Rule when he ran past Heath Burns, who had a rotten gargoyle egg, without thinking about the consequences of his actions. However, Holt has access to a quiet side in favor of the creative process when it comes to his music.
Holt has blue skin, sunrise/sunset eyes and a black/dark blue mark on his face. His hair is made of flames, styled in a faux hawk in the webisodes and more in a wild updo in his other iterations.
Throughout each storyline, Holt and Jackson have no control over their transformations and change from one into the other under specific circumstances. In the cartoon series, it seems to be music that causes Holt/Jackson's transformation.
Relationships
Holt shares a brotherly rivalry with Jackson Jekyll, is cousins with Heath Burns, and has friendships and romantic interests with Frankie Stein, Operetta, and others.
The exact way Holt's family tree looks is fuzzy at the moment. Holt's mother is from the Jekyll/Hyde lineage, while his father is a fire elemental and implied to connect him as cousin to Heath Burns.
